Cooroy State School is seeking a temporary Cleaner to work at our school. The available hours commence on 20 January 2025 as follows: 16 Hours per week (AM shifts). School cleaners play a vital role in the school community by reducing the spread of disease through high standards of cleaning practices and keeping the appearance of the school at a high standard. It is the responsibility of school cleaners to deliver a clean and hygienic learning environment for all students.

About Cooroy State School Cooroy State School is located in the Sunshine Coast hinterland and services the long-established township of Cooroy (approximately 20 kilometres from Noosa) and surrounding rural communities. Originally a timber and dairy town, Cooroy is now a vibrant rural residential area of which Cooroy State School is proud to be a part.
About the Role As the Cleaner you will:
Contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support.Ensure that the duties prescribed for the position are completed to an acceptable standard as determined by their supervisor, in accordance with the approved school cleaning program.The Cleaner reports to the school Principal or nominated delegate. In a non-school location, the cleaner reports directly to the Site Manager.
Mandatory requirements: When working in regulated employment, an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.Interested?
