The Opportunity
As Communications Business Partner, you'll report to the Head of Marketing and Communications and be allocated specific support services and business units to become their 'go-to' communications expert. This gives you the opportunity to really understand these teams and their operations, ensuring that their stories and messages are communicated with impact. You'll also work closely with the Marketing team, supporting external communications and marketing initiatives related to your areas of responsibility when required.
In this fast-paced and exciting role, you'll have the opportunity to:
Use your creativity and expertise to create impactful, audience-specific content for different channels. Spend time onsite to understand our operations firsthand and build strong relationships with frontline leaders to ensure our communications resonate with their teams. Work closely with senior leaders in your allocated business areas to gather insights, stories and feedback that help shape engaging and impactful content. Edit and proofread content for clarity, consistency and alignment with tone, style and brand messaging, providing recommendations for improvements. Advise on the best communication approach, using your expertise to guide your stakeholders and ensure alignment with business goals and strategies. Play an integral role in the transition to our new employee engagement platform, helping to ensure a smooth and successful rollout. About You
To be successful in this role you will:
Have 6+ years' experience and qualification/s in communications, corporate affairs, marketing or a similar field. Be a strong writer with the ability to turn complex information into simple, plain English content that resonates with our audiences. Have great stakeholder management skills with the ability to develop strong, trusted relationships from operational to executive level. Have internal communications and engagement experience, preferably with frontline audiences – familiarity with internal engagement platforms such as Workplace by Meta or Microsoft Viva Engage will also be highly regarded! Be willing to get out onsite and learn about our operations to truly understand our business and the people who make it work. Be a team player who thrives in a busy environment, working closely with stakeholders at all levels to deliver and celebrate great results. Take pride in delivering high-quality results on time (and understand that sometimes it's about progress, not perfection!). Our Process
