About the Roles As the Delivery Lead for the Agile Delivery section, you will have broad responsibilities to ensure both the strategic and tactical success of the section. Our ideal candidate is a high-performing, self-motivated individual who can prioritise effectively to support a complex digital transformation program of work. Working closely with the Manager – Agile Delivery and Release Train Engineer, and as part of a small leadership team, you will implement a range of initiatives aimed at improving ways of working and the smooth operation of the Agile Release Train.
As the Delivery Lead , your responsibilities include:
Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders for Program Increment planning, requirements gathering and prioritisation of work Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies that could impact delivery success and utilise the escalation process to unblock teams, fostering an environment of continuous flow Work closely with the Release Train Engineer to manage reporting across the Agile Release Train and provide regular updates on progress, risks and opportunities Prepare and review written material, including reports, briefs and presentations Provide expertise across workforce planning, staff management and recruitment to ensure teams are appropriately resourced Cultivate empathy across teams and build trusted and strong relationships within the section and with business stakeholders Lead and develop people capability in a team environment through coaching, providing performance feedback and encouraging career development. As a Senior Test Analyst for the Agile Delivery section, you will work in an agile scrum team and be responsible for optimising testing efforts to ensure quality assurance and excellence.
Using the Scaled Agile Framework, you will:
Build and perform test cases using formal test design techniques, and report evidence of testing into Azure DevOps Collaborate with the scrum teams and stakeholders to clarify user stories & acceptance criteria, provide estimates for testing activities and design risk-based tests accordingly Coordinate cross-team testing activities and testing of regular software releases, communicating test progress, issues and risks to the team and stakeholders Plan and coordinate quality Exploratory Testing to mitigate risks of threats to software integrity Identify scenarios suitable for test automation and create automated tests for them using Playwright Prepare quality documentation of identified software problems and collaborate with the scrum team to achieve resolution through replication and testing Provide specialist expertise and technical knowledge with testing activities, including functional, integration, performance, automation, user acceptance and post-implementation (production verification) testing Consider and effectively manage Branch/Division operations and strategic directions when achieving team planning and project outcomes Lead and develop people capability in a team environment through coaching, providing performance feedback and encouraging career development for less experienced testers.
