BrisbCorporate - Energy & Resources Lawyer (3+ PQE)We are seeking a remarkable Lawyer to join our thriving Corporate Energy & Resources Brisbane practice.Clayton Utz boasts Australia's largest specialty Corporate, Energy and Resources and Native Title practice.
This role will provide you with exposure to some of Australia's most high-profile M&A matters and energy projects.Working with our market-leading energy and resources team, you will work with a varied portfolio of major clients.
The work will include cross border M&A and project development in the mining, gas, green infrastructure and clean energy areas (including pumped hydro, wind and solar generation, battery storage and hydrogen projects) and associated infrastructure and rail projects.Skills & Experience
Minimum 3+ PQE yearsExperience as a highly regarded corporate M&A, commercial or regulatory lawyerExperience in the Energy and Resources industry, ideally in regard to clean energy, electricity, mining/commodities or oil and gas marketing, transportation, processing and joint venture arrangementsStrong people skills; the ability to communicate and build a rapport with our clientsA willingness and desire to commit to potential client secondments to leading energy and resources clientsEffective written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate with impact to both internal contacts and external clientsA team player with strong time and project management skillsA driven, self-starter; able to work autonomously and focused on attention to detail and providing outstanding service to clientsHow to Apply?
