Location ProfileTime fraction 1.0 - fulltime - the role is advertised as FT however, there is flexibility of this role being part-time with negotiated days to the selected applicant. Cranbourne East Secondary College (CESC) is a multicultural institution located in Cranbourne East, approximately 55 kilometres south-east from Melbourne CBD. Established in 2011, the College is experiencing rapid enrolment growth, with a year 7-12 enrolment exceeding 2150 students in 2024.

The primary focus is on planning, preparing, and teaching programs to achieve specific student outcomes. Classroom teachers engage in critical reflection to improve their practices.
Range 2 classroom teachers assist in improving student performance and educational outcomes, contributing to school policies and priorities. They are expected to model exemplary practice, mentor other teachers, and assist staff in using student data to inform teaching approaches.
Range 1 classroom teachers focus on developing skills and competencies, teaching various students/classes and being accountable for effective program delivery.
ResponsibilitiesThe role may include but is not limited to:
Direct teaching of groups and individual students;Contributing to curriculum development and evaluation;Undertaking classroom teaching-related duties as determined by the School Principal;Participating in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps, and excursions;Undertaking non-teaching supervisory duties.Who May ApplyTeachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach in the specified curriculum areas.
