Classroom Teacher

Location Profile Outdoor School is a Victorian Department of Education & Training residential outdoor school providing "Education for Sustainable Living". Our educative purpose is "to develop future ready young people". This is a part time 0.4 position and based at our Bogong Campus. Selection Criteria SC1 Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant secondary and primary Victorian curriculum and capacity to implement high quality teaching and learning programs in a residential outdoor school setting with links to a home school. SC2 Demonstrated experience in planning for and implementing high impact teaching strategies, guided by how students learn, and evaluating the impact of learning and teaching programs on student learning growth. SC3 Demonstrated high level written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills including a capacity to develop constructive relationships with students, parents and other staff. SC4 Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning. Demonstrated experience in using data to inform teaching practice and providing feedback on student learning growth and achievement to students and parents.
