Lyndhurst Primary School (LPS) is located in the Marriott Waters Estate in Lyndhurst.
The school opened for all levels, Prep-6, in 2011.
Currently, there are 950 students in 2024.
Lyndhurst is a Public/Private Partnership School that lies in the south-eastern growth corridor, in the City of Casey.
The school opened with approximately 150 students and has experienced rapid growth since its inception.

Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will support the Principal in establishing a strong and positive culture in our developing school.
All newly employed staff at LPS may be required to undertake significant work during the vacation break in January for successful induction.

Selection Criteria
SC1 Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate the teaching of literacy and numeracy skills.
SC2 Demonstrated experience in planning for and implementing high impact teaching strategies.
SC3 Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning.
SC4 Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
SC5 Demonstrated behaviours and attitudes consistent with Department values.
Role
The classroom teacher is responsible for planning, preparation, and teaching programs to achieve specific student outcomes.
Classroom teachers may be required to undertake additional duties as determined by the Principal.
Responsibilities
The role may include but is not limited to:
Direct teaching of students;
Contributing to the development and evaluation of curriculum programs;
Participating in parent/teacher meetings and staff meetings;
Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
