RoleAn education support class position will perform tasks in accordance with guidelines and school policy under supervision. This includes coordination of other education support class staff. The role supports educational services and may involve supervising students in controlled circumstances.
ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and diagnose: Understanding each student's individual learning needs to determine appropriate interventions.
Prioritise and set goals: Setting clear intentions for the tutoring cycle to guide appropriate interventions.
Develop and plan: Developing learning tasks and session plans based on learning goals.
Implement and monitor: Delivering tutoring sessions based on the Group Learning Plan, incorporating regular monitoring.
