Explore our school website to learn more about us. St Martin's School is seeking a Learning Assistant (Teacher Aide) to undertake a range of tasks in supporting the needs of students in our Year 1 classrooms, under the direction of the teacher.
Duties include:General classroom supportWorking with a range of special needs studentsPreparation of resources and clearing learning materialsUsing technology to support learning activitiesAdministrative duties such as photocopying and filingIdeally you will have previous experience as a Teacher Aide and/or hold a minimum of a Cert 3 in Educational Support; proven communication and interpersonal skills; an understanding of the work of a Year 1 classroom and a willingness to work as part of a team.
You will also demonstrate an ability and initiative to apply your skills in supporting students to achieve successful learning outcomes.
