We are looking for an exceptional teacher to bring energy, creativity, and expertise to our music program in apart-time (0.8 FTE approx.)role.
This position calls for a skilled musician and educator who thrives in a classroom setting, has strong guitar skills, and can lead engaging contemporary ensembles.The suitable applicant would have:Classroom Music skills:an ability to teach and motivate students at all skill levels, fostering a love for music and encouraging musical exploration.Guitar proficiency:strong guitar skills that bring versatility to the classroom and ensemble programs, making music accessible and fun for our students.Ensemble directing experience: the capability to inspire teamwork and facilitate creativity through group music-making, including guitar ensembles and cover bands.Music Technology & Live Sound knowledge: some experience teaching sound production and recording techniques, with proficiency in software such as Ableton Live and Logic Pro.
