Classroom Assistant - Leeds Full time Leeds area 80-90 per day January 2025 start Classroom Assistant Responsibilities: Assist with the planning of learning activities by identifying and preparing resources required to support lesson plans and learning outcomes.Assist pupils' achievements by monitoring, supporting and communicating effectively with the class teacher.Lead individual/small groups of children in teacher-led learning activities such as guiding reading, phonics, and math interventions.Maintain classroom resources and prepare materials (e.g., books, pencils, art supplies, games, P.E. activity setup, etc.).Support children with their independence and confidence both inside and outside of the classroom.Classroom Assistant Non-Negotiables: Must have recent and relevant experience working with children and young people in an educational setting.Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills in line with the National Curriculum.Must have the ability to work well under the guidance of the class teacher and possess good team player attributes.Must have a passion for education and the welfare and safeguarding of children and young people.Teaching Assistant Qualification.Valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for a new one.If you are interested in this role, please apply or contact Abby at (phone number removed) or email at (url removed).
