Your New Role
Classroom and learning support (CLS) is a dedicated service that provides a range of resources and assistance to students with disabilities and additional learning needs. It aims to create an inclusive learning environment where all students can reach their full potential. CLS staff work closely with classroom teachers to identify and address students' needs, providing tailored support and strategies. This may include direct instruction, small group work, assistive technology, and behavior management techniques. CLS also offers professional development to teachers, helping them implement effective inclusive practices.

Two Temporary Part-Time Positions Position One - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8:45am - 3:15pm Position Two - Thursday and Friday 8:45am - 3:15pm Commencing January 2025 - 19 December 2025 Access to Salary Packaging (Maxxia is our Salary Packaging Provider) Access to our Employee Assistance Program Discounted Bupa Health insurance Salary: Level 4 $34.74 per hour Averaged (term-time only) Commitment to the ethos of the Catholic Church Certificate III/IV in Education Support Assist teachers and students both inside and outside Learning Spaces Assist with the supervision of small groups and/or individual students on activities, as directed by the teacher Undertake specific tasks with individuals or small groups of students under the guidance of the teacher Support the students and/or teachers in the use of technology Assist students with physical and mobility challenges Current NSW Working with Children Check Successful Candidate will undergo a National Criminal History Check Proven communication and interpersonal skills with both adults and children An understanding of general educational processes and methods An understanding of general health and safety requirements Proven capacity to work as part of a team and be adaptable and flexible Proven capacity to work independently Established skills of creativity, initiative and good judgement Proven capacity to work with children with high and/or additional needs A good standard of numeracy and literacy with personal skills of accuracy, precision, organisation and planning Applications & Enquiries
