Good to Great Schools Australia (GGSA) partners with schools and school systems to support school improvement along a journey from Poor to Fair, Fair to Good and Good to Great.
Our product innovation team drives the organisation's innovation projects, navigating them through our innovation playbook. The team works across the design, build, implement and operate phases to deliver new products and services that delight our customers. The team's current focus is on delivering a range of education products utilising the processes, tools and innovation playbook. The challenge is that the team's knowledge of the practice is not all to the same standard and they require support to ensure they follow the practices and embed them into the project team's activities.
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager who works across all teams to ensure that every business area is scheduling their work and following the practices in line with the innovation model and playbook. The success of this role is measured by how much teams know of the processes and practices, their adherence to the processes and practices to ensure all work is effectively prioritised, planned and delivered and ultimately the weekly output and deliverables or productivity of the design process.
Main Responsibilities: Using our custom project management tool called Innovation Hub. Maintenance of the Innovation Hub. Ensure organisation compliance to the Innovation Hub and Playbook processes. Ensure that operating manuals and training register is kept up to date. Develop weekly production report to CEO describing issues and anomalies and actions taken to resolve them to gain greater innovation compliance. Conduct weekly production management meetings with Business Area Managers to resolve and take action on anomalies. Provide operational leadership and coaching individuals and groups across GGSA to ensure the innovation model is followed and productivity is enhanced. Coordinate team training as required. Ensure daily/weekly/monthly planning, review and design meetings occur across the business as required. Escalate issues that arise during project delivery relating to following the process and support any resolution actions identified. Must Have: 5 to 10 years project management experience. Minimum 5 years experience working with product and solutions. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong background working on IT projects and systems.
