Reporting to the National Aftermarket Manager, the Product Support Specialist will maximize operation time and product reliability by providing maintenance support and technical support across the materials handling range with a focus on the Clark Forklift product. They will provide field support to customers, dealers and branches alike. Proficiency with troubleshooting and performance is required. This is a partly hands-on role which will at times require them to carry out work in the field.
Based in Sydney, the Product Support Specialist will undertake inspections of new models and equipment arriving into the country. They will work hand in hand with the sales team to ensure product is right for market and troubleshoot warranty issues.
The Product Support Specialist has the opportunity to offer their expertise to our network of dealers and branches through providing proactive training in a collaborative, team environment.
The role will see the successful candidate work with overseas manufacturers across products from 1.2t lithium pallet jacks to heavy-duty forklifts.
What we are looking for: A proven aftermarket specialist after a new challenge. A strong understanding of capital equipment is required with the successful candidate likely having notable experience in the forklift and materials handling industry.
They need to enjoy a dynamic environment, have strong problem-solving skills and a keen focus on the customer. Additionally, the candidate should have:
Engineering or trade certification/qualification Prior experience in supporting/maintaining/servicing similar equipment Strong technical proficiency including sound maintenance and repairs experience Customer/internal relationship building skills The ability to advise, train, offer good customer service, and jump on the tools when needed What's in it for you? - Competitive salary + Super
