Join the RAC Insurance Claims team and know you are making a genuine difference to the lives of our members! Our Claims Specialists are responsible for having telephone and online based conversations with our members when they need us most.
We have full time vacancies for Motor Claims Specialists and Recoveries Specialists, which can be made available in a Permanent capacity or Fixed Term/Secondment.
On a daily basis you will be contributing by: Managing an individual caseload of Motor or Recovery claims through to finalisationIdentify recovery action as part of effective claims managementNegotiate liability with other insurers and third parties for motor claimsRefer recovery claims to solicitors to litigation and oversee the litigation processReview quotes and authorise repair costsNegotiate on settlements for claimsAct as a technical referral point for internal teamsProvide empathy, understanding whilst handling complex conversationsConsistently provide service that exceeds member's expectationsIdentify continuous improvement initiatives What are we looking for? Exceptional customer service skills and a high attention to detailExperience in Insurance claims lodgement and and/or knowledge of debt collection laws is desirableExcellent communication and strong negotiation skillsAbility to gather, collate and present evidence and make informed decisionsAbility to clearly communicate complex processes and decisions to our membersResults orientated mindsetSelf-driven and motivated with the ability to work autonomouslyPrevious experience working within the financial services industry desirable What can we offer you?
