We are currently looking for customer service experts to join our Major Loss Motor Claims team on a 6-month contract starting Monday, 25th November 2024.

Our Claim Specialists are customer-obsessed experts who manage claims with empathy and understanding to get our customers back on the road as quickly as possible. As the Claims expert, our Specialists understand what's required to finalize a customer's Major Loss claim in a timely manner, helping to deliver on our Motor Strategy of being #100% motivated to get our customers back on the road.
Position Overview:
Job Title: Major Loss Claim Specialist Start Date: Monday, 25th November 2024 Employment Type: 6 Month Contract (potential to go permanent) Location: Open to Candidates in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne & Toowoomba Work Arrangement: You will be required to attend the office once a fortnight as well as for ad hoc requests; the rest of the time will be remote working after you have completed your 5 weeks of full-time training. Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week - Start Window 8am – 11am. Training: 5 weeks of full-time paid training (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm) before transitioning to the regular shift pattern. Training Format: Combination of classroom and on-the-job training, including high support training. Training Location: Virtual Holiday Restrictions: No holidays allowed during the week training period. What you'll do:
Successfully manage the Major Loss claims experience on behalf of the customer, by delivering a brilliant customer experience when our customers need us the most. This requires you to connect with the customer, empathize with their situation, and be a claims expert, settling their Major Loss Claim in a timely manner. Conduct a number of checks to ensure all applicable steps are completed prior to and during the customer conversation. Contribute to financial outcomes by effectively finalizing a major loss claim and demonstrating a first call resolution mindset. Resolve inquiries in a timely manner with both our inbound and outbound calls while meeting daily settlement targets. What you'll bring:
Previous experience in a high touch customer service environment (note this is a phone-based role). Demonstrated ability to go above and beyond for customers. Willingness to apply feedback and coaching to achieve targets and expectations. High levels of resilience and empathy. Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems. Be flexible and open to change in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Strong time management skills and ability to multitask and work under pressure. These roles will be a combination of office-based and work from home. To successfully work from home, you will need the following:

A keyboard and mouse and either 1 large screen or 2 standard-sized screens; a work laptop will be provided so a computer won't be needed, however, dual screens are compulsory.
