What you'll do Working in our Claims team as part of the Customer Operations function, this is an exciting role where you will: Be an advocate for our customers and keep them updated on each step of the process. Manage customer claims to fulfilment and return the customer to their pre-claim position. Communicate with customers via phone and email. Accurately assess coverage and make determinations on Car or Home claims. Help our customers through natural disasters with empathy and patience. Determine liability based on the information provided and refer recovery opportunities onto our recovery partners. Think outside the box by seeking additional information to validate events. Work closely with our suppliers by maintaining relationships to ensure the best outcomes for our customers. Maintain a high standard of compliance and ethical decision making. Work closely with experts who are there to support you. Training and work arrangement Full-time, office-based training will take place at our Sunshine Coast hub in Birtinya for 4-5 weeks. After training, you'll have the opportunity to transition to flexible remote work. To maintain strong team connections, we have an anchor day once a week, or fortnight, ideally on Wednesdays, where you'll come into the Sunshine Coast hub to collaborate and enjoy a team lunch with the team. What we're looking for Someone who is empathetic, customer-focused, community-minded and environmentally aware. Experience with Car or Home claim lodgement or end-to-end claim management is highly regarded however graduates, school leavers or people with no industry experience are all encouraged to apply.
