  Your new opportunity   A fabulous new opportunity has become available for an experienced, enthusiastic, and driven Quality Assurance Officer to join our Claims Governance Team in a full-time permanent role.
  The role of the Claims Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for conducting regular claim file reviews and task audits to identify claim cost leakage, quality outputs in relation to process and policy and compliance to regulatory compliance.
You will also be responsible for conducting Claims Supply Chain reviews and audits to monitor Supplier performance against service level agreements, quality control and regulatory compliance.
  The findings of these reviews will assist in identifying trends, drive recommended actions to reduce leakage and increase quality and regulatory compliance and to provide feedback to support coaching and development for Claims staff.
The role assists in the education and support of the Claims Leadership team in quality activities, ensuring the ongoing success of quality and assurance management in claims together with:   Assisting in the coordination of Claims quality activities to ensure ongoing adherence to processes and compliance with legislative requirements.
Provide input to the maintenance and improvement of Claims quality and compliance management tools, frameworks, and processes.
Develop effective working relationships with Claims leadership team members and senior claims staff to ensure that actions resulting from recommended improvements are effectively embedded into the Claims operation.

However, to be successful in the role you will need to have: Minimum of 12 months claims management experience.
Sound understanding of the General Insurance Code of Practise 2020.   High degree of attention to detail, and a solution focused attitude Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in the use and interpretation of data Ability to apply sound judgement, make informed decisions, to clearly articulate findings and rationale for recommendations.
Ability to maintain effective relationships and to use influencing skills to achieve required business outcomes.
