Provide assistance, advice and support with respect to our more complex claim files such as: Abuse/molestation claims Significant injury claims Specialist in worker to worker claims.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: End to end management of Injury Liability claim files ensuring best practice processes and procedures are maintained in a cost-effective and timely manner Provide underwriters and leadership with feedback around issues or risk deficiencies identified during a claim's management Contribute to the development of the Injury Liability market profile through Best in Class claims service to our targeted market segment Increase awareness of the cost and consequence of technical decisions with respect to our specialist portfolio Engage with internal stakeholders on the interpretation of policies and legislation as required.
Skills & Experience: 5-10 years' experience managing a portfolio of liability claims Knowledge and use of Mainframe applications/IT & reporting systems used by Commercial Claims Sound knowledge of applicable legislation, regulations and guidelines applicable to the department Ability to develop solutions and courses of action by using an information base to identify key issues, compare with other data and determine cause-effect relationships.
