Suncorp Group is looking for a best-in-class Commercial Major Loss Claims Officer to join our team to deliver exceptional customer service on a permanent basis. This role will be based in either Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne.
What you'll do Management of ISR, complex commercial property and large loss claim files from assessment to settlementManage the insured/brokers claim expectations and explain in plain English policy response and how settlement achieved.Assist fellow Claims Officers - we work as a team; this means that we distribute the workload to ensure that claims are handled in a prompt and efficient manner.Provide Underwriters and Claims Manager with feedback from issues or risk deficiencies.Provide regular claim progress updates to Brokers and Customers as per Service Standards and Code of Practice including any declinatures and to invite feedback.Effective use & knowledge of the computer systems.Determine appropriate contract coverage, including indemnity, legal liability and quantum issuesWhat you'll bring Extensive claims experience in Commercial Property ClaimsExperience in managing ISR claimsStrong technical knowledge of both material damage and business interruption claimsProven performer in customer service rolesIdeally have completed or completing ANZIIF studies (or equivalent)What we can offer you Discounts and offers on a range of retail favourite stores as well as banking and insurance products.A range of flexible working and leave optionsPrioritise your work/life balance with our robust employee assistance program and dedicated employee council.Invest in your brighter future with ongoing study support and career development programs.Give back to our communities with payroll giving, donation matching and paid volunteer leave.It's worth noting that specific benefits may vary depending on the role, level, and location of the employee.
