Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Claims Officer to assist our claims department and ensure a seamless claims process for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in claims management, along with experience in account management, to effectively oversee claims operations and maintain excellent client relationships overseeing a small book of business.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end claims process for business insurance policies. Oversee a team of claims adjusters and support staff, providing guidance and training as needed. Collaborate with underwriters, brokers, and clients to resolve claims efficiently. Analyze claims data to identify trends and improve processes. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing updates on claims status. Develop and implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and claims processing efficiency. Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in claims management within the insurance industry and either Tier 1 or Tier 2 Qualified. Strong knowledge of business insurance products and claims processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Salary range will be negotiated based upon experience.
