In this exciting Claims Management Officer opportunity, you will be empowered to manage a diverse portfolio of property claims, ranging from straightforward to complex. You'll ensure a seamless and positive experience for our members, with no two days ever being the same. Flexible Work Arrangements: Enjoy the freedom of a hybrid work model, with the possibility to work from home after just 1-3 months. Plus, benefit from free onsite parking when you're in the office!Competitive Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $34.37 to $35.40 per hour + superannuation + penalty ratesRotating Roster: Full time 37.5hrs/wk, across 7 day work week (minimal weekends). 7am-7:00pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am to 5:00pm Saturday and SundaySupportive Leadership: Collaborate with leaders who genuinely care about your success. Empathetic Claims Management: Oversee the complete property claims process with compassion, ensuring our members feel supported during their most challenging times.Claims Handling: Efficiently manage the lodgement, triaging, and ongoing oversight of claims, providing clear communication and proactive follow-ups every step of the way.High-Quality Customer Service: Respond to multiple calls daily, delivering exceptional service to every caller and making each interaction count.Negotiation and Transparency: Negotiate settlements when appropriate and clearly explain claim outcomes, ensuring transparency and understanding at all stages of the process.Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders, maintaining professionalism and fostering strong relationships.Documentation Expertise: Apply and interpret Product Disclosure Statements (PDS) and other relevant documentation to inform your decision-making.Continuous Learning: Actively participate in coaching sessions and ongoing training to enhance your skills and grow in your role.Why join RACQ?
