So, what's the job?
You'll be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team.You'll oversee the day-to-day work of your team to ensure accurate and timely claims processing in line with applicable laws and administrative rules, as well as departmental processes and procedures.You'll instill a team attitude towards delivering consistent, professional and proactive customer service, driving accountability through coaching, motivation and ongoing development.You'll assist with call management of frontline complaints received within the Claims Team.You'll ensure financial responsibility and effective management by means of identifying trends, designing and delivering programs to mitigate loss/or leakage to claims and business impact.You'll review Straight Through Claims (aka Fast Track Claims) completed by the CLO team to ensure quality metrics are met and appropriate claims assessment processes have been followed.And what are we looking for?

You'll ideally have a minimum 2 years' experience in a frontline leadership position, ideally in insurance or financial services industries.You'll possess an understanding of insurance legislation, regulations and guidelines applicable to the department.You'll have an eye for best practice and continuous improvement.You'll be someone who always hits your individual KPI's, and enjoys helping the team to reach theirs.You'll enjoy operating in complex, fluid environments.Above all, you'll have a passion for people – both customers and team members.So, why choose us?
