Country: AustraliaWorking Schedule: Full-TimeWork Arrangement: HybridRelocation Assistance Available: NoPosted Date: 23-Aug-2024Job ID: 4117Description and RequirementsPrimarily undertake claims audits/quality assurance across MetLife's different lines of business: Retail, Group and Corporate.Providing coaching and mentoring to case managers and support their Claim Accreditation Programme and Onboarding as well as mentor Claims Governance Consultants.Review complex claims and/or complaints as the business requires to recommend and implement outcomes aligned to regulatory standards and MetLife's claims philosophy.Capability to undertake data reporting and analysis specific to claims.Support development and implementation of data initiatives in line with MetLife and Enterprise Transformation priorities, including IDII.Adhere to all claim risk management frameworks and requirements e.g. LICOP, Privacy Policies and Financial Services Laws.Keep updated with product and regulatory changes and lead changes to claims procedures and guidelines so they remain relevant.Proven ability to lead end to end risk management relevant to claims e.g. identification, remediation and reporting.Recognise and prioritise responsibilities in accordance with business needs and ability to work in an agile environment.Work collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders to drive claims governance best practice.Work with minimal supervision.Data reporting capability specifically in Excel.Knowledge of business strategy and claims philosophies, products and regulatory changes.Be a committed team player who openly communicates and shares knowledge.Excellent time management and ability to prioritise work at all times.Can work under pressure in an evolving environment.Ability to adapt to and embrace change.Strong stakeholder management experience with product, legal, risk.Excellent computing skills and literacy; including Excel.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; example proven ability writing procedures, Board/risk papers.Ability to adapt to change.Qualifications/Experience Required:Minimum 2 years experience in a Life Insurance complaint, claims risk, product or Quality Assurance role.In depth experience across all Life Insurance distribution channels and product lines: Group, Retail and Corporate.Strong understanding and experience implementing Governance Frameworks.Understanding key claims data metrics with the ability to analyse, report and drive claim risk insights.Skills and experience working on projects and using agile ways of working.Benefits We Offer:Our benefits are designed to care for your holistic well-being with programs for physical and mental health, financial wellness, and support for families.
