The purpose of this role is to manage claims for a designated region in accordance with policy conditions and department service standards.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Advising clients, brokers and account management staff on all claims mattersLiaising with clients and insurers on daily enquiriesClaims assessment – interpreting policy wording and reviewing circumstancesProgressing claims – advocating settlement of claims to the client's best advantageAssessing and investigating non-straightforward claimsNegotiating with clients on information regarding non-straightforward claimsProducing and following up on claims correspondenceLiaising with Claims Team Leader in providing clients and brokers with structured solutions to their claims management issuesReviewing complex claims and assisting clients with dispute resolution including IDR & EDR (AFCA)Assisting other staff on claimsGeneral administration as requiredThis is a great opportunity and to be considered, we are seeking a professional in a similar role, ideally with exposure to the Insurance Brokers or Financial Services industry plus:
