Claims Examiner

Description: Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based either Sydney or Melbourne CBD.Claims ExaminerWhat can you expect?In this role you will be handling a portfolio of notifications and non-complex claims.
You will also provide support in account management and complex claims management.What is in it for you?Leading training and development programBrand new agile workspaceHybrid work / from home flexibilityProfessional environment where your career path really matters and is supported in our global organizationExcellent career diversification opportunitiesGreat team environment with energetic and supportive colleaguesWe will count on you to:Manage a portfolio of notifications and non-complex claims by providing a high level of service to clients and brokers; and liaising with relevant insurers and providers.Prepare routine and ad hoc reports; present quarterly and/or annual reviews.Participate in the peer review/ audit process.Participate in projects related to continuous improvement and efficiency of the Claims Team.Support new and expanded business endeavours through provision of claims review data for tenders, renewals and proposals, and participate in client/prospect meetings.Conduct marketing and client/broker education presentations.Provide support in complex matters as required, including but not limited to, research, analysing facts and/or policy wordings.What you need to have: High level of accuracy/attention to detailIdeally someone with bachelor's degree in lawExcellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads and work to tight deadlinesExcellent communication and numerical skills and proven track record to provide a high level of customer serviceFlexible and team player – develops close partnerships with onshore and offshore colleaguesAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesAbility to maintain clear lines of communication with various internal and external stakeholdersProficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
