Job DescriptionYour new role As a Claims Engagement Representative, you will be trusted with the responsibilities of triaging the initial claim consultations for customers and their representatives, laying the foundation for a seamless and supportive claims journey. You will provide tailored and continuous customer engagement, predominately via phone which may involve a degree of complexity, including legislative, sensitive and medical information.
With resilience, empathy, and compassion, you will aid customers or their loved ones navigating challenging or sensitive circumstances predominately via phone.

Key information: Start date: February 2025Location: Canberra (hybrid arrangement) or Interstate (100% work from home)Working hours: Monday to Friday, up to 38 hours per week (excluding public holidays and leave)Training: We will need your full-time commitment and attendance for our 3 week training schedule as this is crucial to your learning and success.Desired Skills and ExperienceWhat you need to excel: Previous experience in customer service, claims processing, or related fields is advantageousProficient in the use of Microsoft software and programs such as Salesforce or the ability to learn this quicklyAdministration skills and ability to maintain accurate record-keeping practicesDemonstrate empathy, maintain a high standard of professionalism, and possess the resilience to thrive in challenging situationsClear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate to a range of audiences and stakeholdersAbility to work in a team environment and autonomouslyCSC's Core Competencies reflect the key sets of skills, knowledge, experience, and behaviours required to perform your role effectively.
