About the Role Internally known as a Personal Financial Consultant, with a strong customer service focus, you will identify, investigate and manage all potential Testator Family Maintenance (TFM) and Superannuation claims for clients who have been appointed by VCAT and no longer have the capacity to manage their own affairs. These include Total Permanent Disability (TPD), income protection and Terminal illness superannuation claims.
You will also deliver training and provide support to help upskill internal stakeholders.
Duties Initiate, investigate, administer claims in accordance with legislative requirements, prescribed policies, work instructions and service standardsAdminister clients' financial interests proactively to ensure action items are followed-upMonitor and report on all finalised TPD claimsEnsure all potential TFM claims are submitted for review before actingSkills and Experience Experience in personal financial administrationAbility to prepare commercial standard correspondence, reports and recommendationsWell-developed professional communication skillsAn ability to understand and probate acts pertaining to individual states for TFM ClaimsSome knowledge and understanding of eligibility criteria of Superannuation Insurance claimsSuperior investigative skills and attention to detailUnderstanding and experience dealing with clients with a disabilityBasic computer literacy including competent use of Microsoft OfficeAbility to acquire knowledge of relevant legislationWillingness to learn to deliver technical based training as well as ongoing support/training to consultants/Team LeadersEmployee Benefits We offer a range of employee benefits including:
