Claims Consultant/ Senior Claims Consultant

We are partnering with a reputable and well established Brokerage firm in Perth who are looking to grow their team with an experienced claims officer. This is a permanent full time position in a high performing and collaborative team.
This business is well known for their outstanding delivery of service to their clients. As a claims consultant you will work closely with the Claims Leader supporting a diverse portfolio of commercial and domestic risks.

As a Claims Consultant, you will be responsible for managing and processing insurance claims for our valued clients. You will play a crucial role in assessing the validity of claims, determining coverage, and ensuring timely resolution. Your expertise and attention to detail will be instrumental in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining our reputation as a trusted insurance provider.
Responsibilities:
Investigate and assess insurance claims to determine coverage, validity, and potential liability Gather necessary documentation, such as accident reports, medical records, and witness statements Collaborate with clients, insurance adjusters, and legal professionals to gather information and negotiate settlements Evaluate policy terms and conditions to determine coverage and liability limits Analyze claims data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Maintain accurate and detailed records of claims activities, including correspondence and documentation Provide prompt and accurate responses to client inquiries, resolving issues and concerns in a professional manner Stay updated on industry regulations, trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and effective claims management Skills & Experience Minimum 1-2 years experience in General Insurance Claims with prior knowledge of end to end commercial claims Outstanding listening and communication skills Knowledge of relevant insurance industry principles and regulatory requirements Please Apply Now or contact Nathan Anning, Director for a confidential conversation about this role on 0404 891 108 or email ******
