Claims Consultant - Professional IndemnityOur client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Consultant to manage professional risk indemnity claims.
This role offers an attractive salary range of $130,000 - $140,000 and is based in the vibrant heart of Melbourne's CBD.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a full legal defence and/or resolution of all claims, ensuring an optimum and efficient service to customers.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing clear instructions on litigated claims, negotiating with claimants for non-litigated claims, administering claims processes, setting reserves for each claim, and delivering exceptional customer service.
You will also contribute to our client's objective of being a leader in the intermediated insurance industry through your commitment to effective teamwork.
Provide clear instructions and guidelines on litigated claims to legal practitionersNegotiate with claimants for non-litigated claims to ensure cost-effective outcomesAdminister claims including cheque processing, auditing and reviewsSet reserves for each claim reflecting the most probable financial outcomeDeliver exceptional customer service ensuring full protection provided by the policySupport the achievement of being a leader in the intermediated insurance industry through effective teamworkWhat you bring: The ideal Claims Consultant will bring proven experience in managing professional risk indemnity claims.
You have strong negotiation skills which you utilise to achieve cost-effective outcomes.
Your experience extends to administering various aspects of claims processes including cheque processing, auditing and reviews.
You are adept at setting reserves for each claim that reflect the most probable financial outcome.
Above all, you are known for your exceptional customer service skills and your commitment to effective teamwork.
