Millennium Underwriting Agencies Pty Ltd is an Australian Insurance Underwriting Agency, servicing a nationwide network of insurance brokers. We offer a wide range of insurance products across both residential, commercial motor and farming portfolios. This is a highly autonomous role where you will have responsibility for managing a portfolio of multifaceted claims, on an end to end basis.
We are seeking a full time claims officer, to join our team of dedicated professionals with a view to manage predominately farm insurance claims.
To be successful in this role you will understand the importance of being able to personalise each interaction, be professional, inquisitive and respectful. Your ability to listen with understanding and empathy, identify useful information and proactively find solutions will really set you up for success.
Claims experience in general insurance or general insurance industry experience is desirable.
What you'll do Provide a high level of service to customersManage multiple cases whilst updating customers on stages of claim progression.Communicate with repairers and assessors.Review and process claims including liaising closely with, assessing loss and determining claims settlement.Build, enhance and maintain quality relationships with all internal and external customers.Have quality conversations with our customers to explain the claims process, claims outcome and offer support throughout the claim.What you'll bring Exceptional written & verbal communication skills and the ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy for the customer.High degree of integrity.Effective time management with a strong attention to detail.Outstanding record keeping skillsProficient computer skills including professional email writing and data accuracy.Adaptable and responsive to a continuously changing environment.To be resilient and have the ability to positively manage difficult situations.Ability to manage multiple competing prioritiesA team player attitude which supports and respects others.If you meet the above criteria and have a positive 'can-do' attitude, we want to hear from you.
