Remuneration: ASO5 ($85,790 - $95,413 per annum) + 11.5% Superannuation
Role Details
The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Claims Consultant to join the Safety and Wellbeing Team on a full-time term basis.
The role is responsible for:

Contributing to an effective Injury Management System for DCP which meets legislative requirements and provides direct actions that support best practice and continual improvement.
Managing workers compensation claims to reduce the financial and human impact of work-related injury across DCP.
Assisting in the implementation of injury management plans, programs, and strategies which support the strategic priorities of DCP.
Representing DCP on legal and compensation matters within delegation of authority, particularly in negotiation and representation at the SA Employment Tribunal and with claimants and their representatives.

About You
We are looking for a resourceful individual with significant experience contributing to injury management strategies in a large and complex organisation.
To be successful in this position, you will need to have excellent communication skills with demonstrated knowledge of injury management principles and the Return to Work Act 2014 legislation.
You will also be an innovative thinker with the ability to take initiative and formulate suitable management strategies and experience in the interpretation of reports on return to work trends.
