We are currently seeking multiple candidates to be Complex & Legal Claims Consultants within their Complex & Legal Settlements team, who will managing a portfolio of complex liability and legal files within the liability claims department, whilst achieving cost effective and quality claims handling through robust relationships with team members, internal and external service providers.

Reporting to the Team Leader, the Complex & Legal Claims Consultant is responsible for managing a portfolio of complex liability and legal files within the liability claims department, whilst achieving cost effective and quality claims handling through robust relationships with team members, internal and external service providers.
Manage a portfolio of complex liability and legal files.
Assess liability and settlement outcomes Negotiate with third parties, insurers and legal representatives including recovery agents and credit hire organisations Manage relationships with our panel of legal suppliers To follow settlement methodology ensuring company procedures and relevant legislation is adhered to Consult with external solicitors on claims requiring defence or settlement offers Resolve complex settlement claims Application of Insurance Contracts Act, Code of Practice and other regulatory authorities What you'll need to be successful Keenness to contribute to workplace culture Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and think proactively along with proven innovation and solution based solving skills A track record of strong stakeholder management and influencing skills Experience in managing complex insurance claims including legal litigation (desirable) Ability to maintain strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders Highly developed written and verbal communications skills Strong attention to detail Computer/technology competence (skills testing may be required) Ability to thrive in fast paced high pressure environments and ambition to grow alongside the business You will be required to complete background checks and proof of full working rights in Australia to be able to work in Insurance  The perks Paid training (4 weeks) 'Earn to Learn' Program – guaranteed bonuses for first 6 months Additional days of leave – you'll receive a paid 'ME' day and one paid volunteer leave day annually Option to purchase up to two additional weeks of leave per year Paid parental leave Continuous development opportunities Insurance discounts & employee benefits High performance is rewarded ($$$) Celebrate success – regular social & community activities including annual celebrations, family fun days and events across each of the sites What you need to do now If you are interested in this new opportunity please  apply directly,  or for a confidential discussion please contact  Samuel Longfield  from  Fuse Recruitment  on  0403 811 377 .
