We currently have an opportunity for a Claims Advisor to join the claims team to manage the Fatalities and Workers Care portfolio of workers compensation claims.

This is a permanent role offering a hybrid work environment.

What you'll do Manage and be the primary contact point for Fatalities & Workers Care portfolio of Workers Compensation Injury Claims of people who have passed away, liaising with next of kin and their dependents, assessing and providing them with their entitlements for employers in NSW.
Proactively investigate, gather evidence, accurately review and assess claims on behalf of icare ensuring injured workers receive their correct entitlements.
Clear and concise communication with all stakeholders.
Manage workflow to ensure that all activities are completed within applicable timeframes and maintain up-to-date records.
Proactively collaborate with internal support and external stakeholders to ensure proactive Case Management.
Provide an excellent level of customer service to the legislative authority, employers, brokers, people who are entitled to benefits, and injured workers through compliance with legislation, timely response times, and efficiency in processing.
Ensure the team adheres to the model litigant principles as directed by iCare.
What you'll bring Strong team player with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
Exceptional listening and communication skills in a high-volume work environment.
Strong analytical or Quality Assurance focus.
Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy for the customer.
Proven ability to build rapport with customers and key partners.
Ability to interpret complex information and respond by developing appropriate actions.
Demonstrated decision-making ability and critical thinking.
High standard of written and verbal communication skills.
High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
Experience managing Workers Compensation or Personal Injury claims would be highly regarded.
Computer literacy and experience navigating multiple systems.
Allied Health experience would be highly regarded.
