Reporting into the Workers' Compensation Team Leader, this position will play an active role in achieving our workers' compensation and injury claims management goals, particularly within the QLD self-insurance scheme. The role requires previous experience in claims and/or case management, as well as strong administrative skills in supporting claims and injury management. The ability to work independently in a small team is essential.Key activities:Manage claims portfolio in compliance with legislation and license requirements.Provide advice on workers' compensation entitlements.Process weekly compensation entitlements.Educate managers and staff on workers' compensation and injury management.Accurately record claims and documentation in the claims management system.Facilitate discussions with Rehabilitation Advisors to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.Maintain excellent customer service and relationships with stakeholders.Support general well-being initiatives and perform related admin tasks.Ensure compliant and cost-effective claim expenditures.We would love to hear from you if you have:Proven end-to-end claims case management experience, ideally in QLD workers' comp.Qualifications or equivalent experience in case management.Effective time management and coordination skills.Strong organisational and planning abilities with attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Positive team player with a proactive attitude.Experience in self-insurance scheme is highly regarded.Ability to build relationships with stakeholders for effective claims/case management.Occasional flexibility for intra- or inter-state travel.Our BenefitsOur culture is both supportive and collaborative where you can make your role your own.
