About the Role
This role is responsible for assessing claims accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with Doctors Health's rules, policies and procedures.
The role is also responsible for preparing and sending email claim summaries to members and handling telephone enquiries from medical providers.

• Ensuring service expectations of members are met in a high volume environment
• Adhering to compliance and legislative requirements
• Understanding a large amount of information in relation to the fund, products, and the health industry
• Participating in coaching and training to keep knowledge up to date
As the business develops, the position will continue to evolve and the incumbent is expected to adopt a flexible approach to work requirements and to undertake new or alternate duties as required. This may include adoption of new technologies, new work procedures and new expectations.
Key Accountabilities: Claims Assessing
• Assess claims accurately and in a timely manager within service level agreements, in accordance with fund rules, policies, procedures and legislation
Communication
• Deliver clear and accurate communication (verbal and written) to members and providers
• Keep an accurate record of telephone interactions
• Give and receive feedback in an open, honest and constructive manner
• Be open to others' points of view and be respectful
• Attend training and coaching as required.
• Report system issues.
Results focus
• Be mindful of company, team and individual KPIs and strategic goal
• Share tips and ideas with peers
• Seek feedback on own performance and be self-motivated
