About the Role
This position is fixed term with an end date of 30 June 2025
Reporting to the Insurance Coordinator, you will be responsible for undertaking property insurance and Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) claims for natural disaster events that have impacted Victoria's arterial road network from the October 2022 flood and storm event, and subsequent events.
Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders across DTP, other agencies, and external contractors. Assess and undertake the compilation of claims to meet the Department's property insurance and DRFA process from natural disaster events since the October 2022 flood and storms. Be a collaborative and supportive member of the claims assessing team. Implement, refine, and provide continuous improvement to the property insurance claims process alongside contractors and internal resources. Provide management with accurate and authoritative advice when required. Proactively support emerging priorities with an agility to shift focus to respond to reactive issues and risks to support requirements of management. Key Selection Criteria

Qualifications and Experience
A relevant tertiary degree in business, engineering, or public policy or extensive relevant experience. Experience in insurance claims or general process management would be beneficial. What we offer
