We're growing again and are looking for a Civil Team Leader to join and help us with projects and support our team.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Team Leader to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and coordinate civil excavation projects, ensuring efficient and safe operations while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Lead and manage a small team of civil labourers and trades assistants, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance.Project Management: Plan, schedule, and oversee civil excavation projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.Site Supervision: Monitor and supervise site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.Equipment Management: Coordinate the use and maintenance of heavy machinery and equipment, including excavators, loaders, and backhoes.Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that projects meet specifications and exceed customer expectations.Client Communication: Liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and address any concerns.Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with civil excavation projects.Minimum RequirementsExperience: Proven experience in civil construction, with a strong background in excavation projects - a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role or industry is highly desirable.Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and management abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, excavation techniques, and safety regulations.Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve problems efficiently and effectively.Safety Awareness: A commitment to safety and a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.Preferred Qualifications (Not Essential)Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management.Certifications: Certifications in heavy machinery operation (e.g., excavator, loader) and safety management.We are looking for an exceptional individual who is passionate about our core values to join our team.
