Civil Supervisor

Excellent opportunity for a Civil Supervisor to work on a major infrastructure project in Darwin Your new company Our client, a leading Contractor specialised in Civil construction, is recruiting an experienced Civil Site Supervisor to work on a large-scale infrastructure project in the Darwin area. The project involves bulk earthworks, concreting and surfacing works, as well as box and pipe culvert installation. Your new role As a Civil Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations on site and ensuring the work is delivered according to the company's standards of quality and safety. This is a full-time permanent role based in Darwin. Your key responsibilities will be: Manage the team and oversee all activity on site to maximise site production and execute the defined work within program and budget constraints. Ensure that the Tradesmen and Subcontractors follow the operations schedule and program and that their work meets quality requirements. Ensure that all OHS policies and procedures are adhered to and monitor a safe work culture within the work teams. Proactively resolve on-site issues. Report to management regarding on-site activity and prepare regular scheduling reports. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role you will have: Previous experience in a similar role working on Civil projects (Bulk earthworks, Road Construction, Storm water drainage, Infrastructure projects). Ability to read and interpret contract documents and project drawings. Experience with subcontract management. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel. Excellent oral, written communication and analytical skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
