We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Draftsperson to join our growing team on a permanent basis. This role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to exciting projects that make a difference in our communities. You will have the opportunity to work across both civil and structural disciplines, assisting our engineering team and working closely with Senior Designers to complete project designs. Key Responsibilities: Work in a team environment to prepare high quality engineering models and drawings in an efficient, concise manner and in accordance with relevant Australian or client standards.Produce and maintain technical and engineering drawings using 2D/3D CAD software as required.Collaborate with experienced engineers and designers to develop and implement project plans, specifications, and engineering design requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards and internal business systems.Closely collaborate and communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including clients, project managers, contractors and other consultantsDevelop and share technical capability and experience amongst colleagues to grow the capabilities yourself and the wider teamContribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and workflowsSkills and Experience: Nearing completion or having completed a relevant TAFE or similar vocational education in drafting/engineering design, and ideally 2-4 years industry experience.Proven experience in the use of MicroStation or AutoCAD software packages.Experience with other design software (e.g. 12d, Revit, Civil3D) is desirable but not essential.Understanding of civil engineering principles and design standards.A willingness to contribute to a welcoming, collaborative, high functioning team environment with a natural eye for detail and strong analytical skills.Strong listening, communication and teamwork abilities.Inherent drive towards technical and non-technical career development including a willingness to undertake training, networking, and professional development.What We Offer: Flexible conditions including a 4-day work week, and hybrid work environment with work from home opportunities.Attractive remuneration package.Professional development opportunities and mentorship.A friendly, sociable, and supportive team environment.Exposure to a variety of projects and challenges. #J-18808-Ljbffr
