Overall, you will be ensuring the successful completion of construction projects by overseeing all aspects of construction site operations, from planning and execution to quality control and safety compliance.Supervision: Oversee all construction activities on the site, including scheduling, coordinating, and managing RDH personnel including subcontractors. Quality Control: Ensure that the construction work meets quality standards and specifications outlined in the project plans and contracts. This involves conducting inspections and addressing any issues promptly.Safety: Safety is paramount on construction sites. Site supervisors enforce safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and ensure that all workers have the necessary safety training and equipment (working closely with our HSE advisors and management team) Coordination: Coordinate with various stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, to ensure that the project progresses smoothly and according to plan.Progress Reporting: Track the progress of construction activities and report regularly to project managers and clients. This includes documenting work completed, materials used, and any challenges or delays encountered.Problem-solving: Construction projects often encounter unexpected challenges or delays. Site supervisors must be adept at problem-solving, finding solutions to keep the project on track and within budget.Cost Control: Monitor expenses related to labour, materials, and equipment to ensure that the project stays within budget.
