With an ongoing pipeline of work ahead, Golding is currently seeking Civil Site Engineers and Civil Project Engineers for our Urban division with ongoing projects located in South East Queensland.
This role will be involved in all aspects of civil and sub-division projects from tender through to handover on existing and new projects. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for the right candidates to work in a well-established and capable team, develop their skills as an engineering professional, and work in a supportive environment where positive contributions are valued and rewarded.
Key Role Tasks:
Plan, design, document and manage construction activities and processes;
Implement and monitor the project program in respect to engineering services;
Implement measures to sustain and improve the performance of your team to deliver effective and efficient work outcomes;
Manage and monitor resources for the project;
Develop and foster effective and regular communication with the Project Team including suppliers and clients;
Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the Quality Assurance, Environmental Management and Safety Management Plans and other relevant standards and legislation;
Complete reporting requirements for financial, operating and survey needs of the site;
Comply with Golding's health and safety requirements and promote a work environment which reflects this behaviour;
Key Capability Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related field are essential;
Demonstrated analytical and design skills;
Practical knowledge in investigation, design and construction of civil works;
Well-developed communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal) demonstrating the ability to interact with internal customers, external stakeholders and clients;
Ability to develop and maintain a safe workplace and environment for employees, contractors and visitors;
Strong level of computer skills, including Microsoft, Suretrak / Primavera and AutoCAD applications;
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and promote cohesive teamwork;
Personal flexibility to operate in a dynamic work environment.
