As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled Civil QA Engineer to join our team.
Role Overview As a Civil QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of civil engineering work across our transmission infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
With a focus on quality assurance, you will work closely with project teams to implement and monitor QA/QC processes, ensuring that all construction activities meet industry standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement QA/QC plans for civil engineering aspects of transmission infrastructure and renewable energy projects. Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations. Review and approve construction materials, methods, and workmanship, ensuring they meet quality standards. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Prepare detailed QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports. Monitor and report on the progress of QA/QC activities, ensuring that quality objectives are met within project timelines. Participate in project meetings and provide technical support on quality-related matters. Continuously improve QA/QC processes by incorporating industry best practices and lessons learned from previous projects. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC within civil engineering, preferably in transmission infrastructure or renewable energy projects. Strong knowledge of Australian construction standards, codes, and regulations. Experience with QA/QC processes, inspection procedures, and quality management systems. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
