Mining - Operations (Mining, Resources & Energy) We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong expertise in civil engineering, earthmoving, and infrastructure to join our client's dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the full project scope, from tendering through execution to final completion, reporting to the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with the tender process, including bid reviews, methodology development, and contract negotiations.Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from mobilization and project readiness to execution and completion.Manage project delivery, ensuring cost, schedule, and resource efficiency.Lead and support work-winning activities, providing input on estimating, pricing, and overall project strategy.Provide leadership to a team of experienced direct reports, ensuring high-quality project outcomes.Handle project start-up activities, ensuring smooth transitions from planning to execution.Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative requirements, including quality, Work Health, and Safety standards.Manage cost control and reporting, including preparation for monthly contract and cost valuation.Candidate Requirements: Minimum of 5 years' experience in Project Management with a proven track record in civil, earthmoving, and infrastructure projects.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management.Strong project management skills, with experience across the full project lifecycle.High-level problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to analyse, interpret, and evaluate complex information.Excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail.Proven ability to manage cost controls and deliver monthly contract and cost reports.Resilient and results-driven, with a strong ability to lead and resolve project challenges.What our client offers: Permanent, full-time position based north of the river.Market competitive salary package.Ability to work with a growing business.Work closely with management to assist in the growth of the Civil and Mining division within the business.Opportunity to commence immediately.About Us: Western Work Force is an Australian owned recruitment company and a market leader in providing temporary, contract, and permanent staffing solutions across various industry sectors.
