Civil Project Manager

NES Fircroft is collaborating with a global leader in the mining industry to find an experienced Civil Project Manager for a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension. This role is based in Brisbane CBD.As a Civil Project Manager, you will provide client-side project management expertise to drive the delivery of several projects across a portfolio of assets.Key Responsibilities: Manage delivery of designs in the civil and geotechnical disciplines.Engage with internal and external stakeholders to develop, plan, and deliver project-specific requirements and objectives over several phases.Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to solve complex problems.Manage project costs and schedules according to approved plans and be accountable for overall project performance.Ensure delivery meets required quality control and assurance standards.What You Need to Succeed:Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or relevant trade and industry experience.Previous experience in civil infrastructure or mining sector project delivery is highly regarded.Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build effective relationships in a complex environment.Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and time management skills, with a high level of attention to detail.Ability to lead and mentor a project engineer and junior project staff, promoting a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.What You'll Get in Return:Brisbane CBD-based role with site travel required.Flexible work-from-home arrangements.Competitive rate.Initial 6-month contract with a longer pipeline of work thereafter. #J-18808-Ljbffr
