Position Summary Join our dynamic team as a Civil Project Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering sustaining capital rail projects for tier 1 clients.
Based in Perth, WA, you'll be at the forefront of various heavy haul rail study and design projects.

In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing schedules for design work, obtaining necessary approvals, and developing project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
You'll monitor and report on project quality, cost, and schedule, while identifying and mitigating risks.
Effective communication and collaboration with the Project Manager, design team, and other stakeholders to resolve potential issues will be key to your success.

About the Role Prepare schedules for design work and obtain approvals for flow sheets and drawings.
Develop project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
Obtain appropriate approvals for documentation including calculations, specifications, and variations.
Monitor and report on aspects of project quality, cost, and schedule.
Monitor and identify risks to the project and drive implementation of appropriate controls and mitigations.
Liaise with the Project Manager, design team, operations, EPCM service providers, and other contractors on an ongoing basis.
Resolve potential issues or escalate them to the Project Manager.
Develop and implement project controls, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
About the Candidate Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering 4-8 years of professional experience in project engineering and project management Demonstrated experience working on mining and rail engineering projects Understanding of heavy haul rail projects will be well-regarded Ability to perform effectively in a team environment and foster good relationships Highly developed written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills Proven project management skills (achieving prescribed budget, timeframe and customer requirements) Ability to interpret and communicate technical information Experience in project scheduling and budgeting Proficiency in risk identification and mitigation Experience liaising with EPCM service providers and other contractors How to Apply At Inverse Group we are dedicated to creating and improving diverse and inclusive environments within the workforce.
