Civil Project Engineer Location: Perth
Key Responsibilities: Project planning and management of civil engineering design and construction works packages to support wind farm projects. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure the project stays on track. Assist in development of tender works packages including scopes of works, pricing schedules, specifications, and documentation requirements list. Assist in obtaining necessary permits and ensuring that all civil engineering work complies with local, state, and federal regulations. Liaise with regulatory bodies, environmental agencies, and other stakeholders to secure approvals. Prepare regular project reports, including progress updates, cost tracking, and risk assessments. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including design drawings, permits, and inspection reports. Act as the liaison between different stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and team members. Facilitate communication to ensure that everyone is aligned and informed about project progress and changes. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, or a related field. Minimum 4 years civil experience in an engineering and/or projects role. Strong project management skills and able to work effectively within a team. Experience in the preparation of cost estimates for civil engineering works, monitoring project costs, and identifying opportunities for cost savings. Ensuring that all civil engineering activities are completed within the allocated budget and schedule. Strong understanding of civil engineering and construction principles, including for site design, roads, water management infrastructure, and foundations.
