Job Description About the Role: Major iron ore project in the Pilbara region of WA. Civil Project Engineer opportunity to focus on a range on the execution of earthworks, roads and associated civil infrastructure. Provide engineering and technical support at site and ensure all civil engineering project work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements. Obtain appropriate approvals and document calculations, specifications, and variations. Prepare documentation for standards, procedures and safe working practices. Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of activities. Provide innovative solutions to complex challenges and strive towards safety, environmental, specification, design and contractual requirements. Initial 12 month contract (hourly rate) with strong chance of extension. 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth. Well regarded engineering and project delivery consultant.
Key Criteria Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil engineering. 6+ years of experience in Civil Engineering and previous site experience within mining projects. Bulk earthworks and roads project experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High level verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work quickly, effectively and positively in a demanding environment. Excellent attitude towards health, safety, environmental and quality outcomes.
