Our client is a leading company in the Renewables Industry.
They are looking for an experienced civil project engineer to contribute to the success of renewables projects around regional Victoria and New South Wales.
Initially, this role will be based on site and will require a DIDO or FIFO roster to support solar farm projects in the area.
Living away from home allowances will be provided.
The role will work closely with electrical engineers and provide insight and guidance on the civil aspects of the project.

Key Responsibilities: Manage daily construction activities to ensure project milestones are achieved. Implement and monitor the project program in respect to engineering services. Interpret designs for implementation in construction projects. Create, monitor, and control project schedules. Plan and implement site establishment activities, ensuring compliance with site-specific and contract requirements, including location, fencing, signage, environmental, and traffic conditions. Identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks, maintaining a risk register and initiating corrective actions as needed. Manage changes to scope, deliverables, schedules, and budgets. Analyze variances, trends, risks, and opportunities, and highlight significant operational performance issues to management. Key Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related field are essential. Practical knowledge in investigation, design, and construction of civil works. Well-developed communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal). Ability to develop and maintain a safe workplace and environment for employees, contractors, and visitors. Ability to work collaboratively and positively with a range of internal customers and external suppliers/subcontractors. Personal flexibility to operate in a dynamic work environment.
