About the Role:
As a Plumbing Supervisor within our civil construction team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising plumbing projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining quality standards to deliver projects on time. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years' experience in civil plumbing, including large trunk sewer, pipe laying and water infrastructure projects and excellent leadership skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Civil Construction Manager, you will be required to:
Manage and supervise plumbing projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes and safety regulations. Plan, schedule, and coordinate all earthworks activities. Work with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and implemented. Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify potential issues or conflicts and propose solutions. Lead a team of plumbers, operators and labourers, providing guidance and support as needed. Responsible for QHSE management, ensuring safety protocols are followed. About You:
To be successful, you will require:
A trade qualification as a Plumber / Drainer, and a valid licence. Minimum 5 years civil construction experience. General Construction Induction Card (Blue Card) or Work Safely in Construction Industry (White Card) is essential. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage, motivate and mentor a diverse team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members, clients and subcontractors. A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
